The WIT Crowd | 07/07/2020

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback regarding the Powered Symbol Logo. Our membership has voted to keep the logo as is. The number of people who expressed their opinions was small, relative to our membership size. Therefore, we acknowledge that those who voted to keep the logo as-is may be in the majority who identify as female. Even though WIT will not change the logo for now, we are committed to uplifting all who identify as women.

Furthermore, the executive team is engaged in conversations on how we can proactively create programming that is inclusive of gender non-conforming, non-binary, and trans women. We are hoping to collaborate with representatives from Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies (GWSS) on a conversation with all of you about how you connect and identify with WIT and what we can do to be inclusive. Keep an eye out for more news on that conversation via this mailing list!
