Hey UMN Women in Tech! I hope we didn’t spook you too badly at the start of the email -- in the spookiest month of year we all need to stick together and stay on our toes in case dancing skeletons wander out of their eternal rest. :)
If you are a part of the UMN WIT Mentorship program, remember to set up your first meeting with your mentor or mentee. The upcoming social hour at The Republic might be a great way to network and connect again in the company of awesome women and allies in WIT.

Our first coffee hour of the school year will feature a speed mentoring event at McNamara Alumni Center. You will have an opportunity to ask and answer professional development questions in a series of short and focused conversations (perfect if you’re unsure about mentoring or mentee-ing). It is also an excellent networking opportunity!
