We hope you are experiencing a sense of justice and relief at the final verdict in Derek Chauvin’s trial. The Twin Cities, and Minnesota as a whole, still have a great deal of work ahead as we continue to pursue social justice in all areas of life. This verdict can bring us a moment of peace and elation as we continue to do the necessary work to bring change.
We know that our community is still reeling from the loss of Daunte Wright and countless others. Make sure that you are taking care of yourselves and, if you have the capacity, others in your life who need support at this time.
Let’s continue to look forward with hope and with intent to do good for all!
